Welcome to First UMC Fulshear Kids!
We’re glad your family and kids are worshipping with us today! Children are so important to us at First Fulshear. Our First Fulshear Kids Ministry (infant-5th grade) is centered on developing a culture where every child receives the truth of Jesus Christ and experiences His great love for them. Our teachers and volunteers are committed to creating an environment of relational, emotional and spiritual growth. As you worship in the Sanctuary, know that your child is having a wonderful God-centered time as well.
In advance, we want to thank you for the blessing of your family’s time with us and being able to show your kids the love of Jesus Christ.

Bible Study & Workshop
It is vital to help the youth establish a strong foundation of faith to support other areas of their life. Through Wednesday LYT and Sunday School, students have the opportunity to engage in open, authentic discussion while extensively studying scripture. Lessons are supported with real life applications, such as service projects, and are accompanied by workshops that will allow students to learn certain skills such as praying aloud and mindfulness.
With the belief that service is one of the accessible and rewarding ways to act out one’s faith, the Lumos Youth Group participate in many different service projects throughout the year. Students give their time and talents to help those in need through quarterly service projects, which the youth have the opportunity to suggest. By making a commitment to these causes, the students will feel their commitment to Christ grow as they share His love with others and glorify Him.
The Lumos Youth Group participates in quarterly retreats so that the youth may find refreshment from their busy and stress-filled lives by focusing on Christ and the love that He has for us. This time is focused on allowing students to develop their deepen their faith and grow spiritually.
Throughout the year, numerous events are organized to allow the youth time to socialize in a open and welcoming environment, celebrating our supportive and diverse family.
